DESCRIPTION

Derrumbes Oaxaca is a perfect example of a mezcal from the Central Valley of Oaxaca. Made using Espadin agave, cooked in an underground pit, it is double-distilled and rested for three months before bottling. Citrus and sweetness combine with light smoke on the palate.

Tasting Notes:

NOSE:
Petrol, varnish, board markers, oily rags, black rubber plimsolls, cracked black pepper, boot polish and dark chocolate.

TASTE:
Leather and wood smoke, with sweet cooked agave, oily notes, petrol and raisin sweetness.

FINISH:
Long and smoky, with leather, olive oil and two-stroke.
