Diplomático - Single Vintage 2005 | Venezuelan Rum

A rum of singular depth and complexity, Diplomático Single Vintage 2015 has spent 12 years aging in ex-bourbon and ex-single malt casks, developing a dark, brooding character with sweet vanilla high notes. A final year finishing in Spanish sherry casks lends an oaky, dried-fruit finish to an already wonderful rum.

HISTORY:
Diplomático rums are distilled using a rich variety of methods, including divers continuous column stills for light rums, batch kettle for intermediate rums, and pot stills for more complex rums. The history of Diplomático began in Venezuela in 1959, with the establishment of the distillery where all of its rums are produced.
Today Diplomático is distributed in over 60 countries. It holds the “Ron de Venezuela” DOC (Protected Denomination of Origin) and is recognized as one of the finest rums in the world.
