DESCRIPTION

A limited edition single malt from Mars Shinshu. This 2018 expression is made up of both peated and unpeated whiskies, aged in American oak bourbon barrels. The gentle Japanese whisky was bottled without chill filtering at 48% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes:

NOSE: Swirls of smoke surrounding honeysuckle, floral blossom and ripe plums.

TASTE: More stone fruits, with peaches and nectarines in there too, alongside sweet citrus peel and sharper citrus juice.

FINISH: A dry and smoky finish which lingers, with a hint of floral sweetness remaining.
