From the iconic Rhone Valley producer Paul Jaboulet Aine, who has been producing the region’s wines since 1834 – Parallele 45 perfectly encapsulates the Southern Rhone’s vigor in this classic blend of primarily Grenache Blanc & Marsanne (w/ a bit of Viognier & Bourboulenc). Its character is both Provencial & robust w/ flavors of candied citrus peels, stone fruit, almond, thyme, and acacia, which makes it a marvelous partner to roasts of pork & chicken, as well as heavier preparations of seafood (such as seared/grilled tuna). While plump & unctuous in texture, its acidity is both lively & easy as well, making this bottle just as good for sipping on warm afternoons.
