DESCRIPTION

An intense, vintage rum from Fiji's South Pacific Distillery, this is a blend of both pot- and column-distilled rums. Matured in ex-bourbon casks for seven years before a 2-year finish in French Château de Bonbonnet Cognac barrels, this is an intensely tropical rum with deep, dark-chocolate bitterness, rich baking spice and lashings of jammy fruit.

Tasting Notes:

NOSE:
Very intense, it opens on notes of prickly pear and varnishes a profile that is woody and oily. It then becomes fruitier and spicier on banana, pecan, nutmeg and oak.

TASTE:
It is rich and round, it follows the Nose with notes of buttery vanilla caramel, cocoa, ginger ale and fruity notes of quince, hazelnuts and coconut.
