DESCRIPTION

Campbeltown's Springbank Distillery has sent out another stunning single malt into the world for whisky fans to enjoy! This particular expression was matured for 25 years, with 50% being drawn from bourbon casks and the other 50% being drawn from sherry casks. It was released in February 2020, and we're sure the ears of whisky enthusiasts across the globe perked up at the same time when it was announced.

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes:

NOSE:
Initially parma violets and rhubarb custard creams. A fresh spritz of grapefruit followed by a malty honeycomb sweetness.

TASTE:
Maturity and complexity at its best. A rich and chewy palate with vanilla, fudge, tobacco and cured meats.

FINISH:
Oh yes, it's definitely a true Springbank with those coastal and earthy dunnage warehouse notes combining with honey glazed ham and waxy orange rind at the very end.
