Bouchard - Vosne-Romanee | French Red Wine

Bouchard Père & Fils Vosne-Romanée is a red wine aged in wood made by Bouchard Père & Fils with the Pinot Noir variety in the AOC Vosne-Romanée/Côte-d 'Or, in Burgundy (France). Bouchard Père & Fils is a centenary winery which has been accumulating high-quality plots since 1731. A total of 130 hectares of their own vineyards where we find wonderful Grand Cru and Premier Cru wines. Today the Maison is recognized as one of the greatest in Burgundy with extremely balanced wines of great personality. Bouchard Père & Fils Vosne-Romanée comes from a vineyard known as the Pearl of Burgundy which is located in the village of Vosne-Romanée. They’re old vines planted in mainly clayey and calcareous soils. They’re cultivated using traditional agriculture and the harvest is carried out manually when the grapes reach optimum ripeness. After selecting the bunches of Bouchard Père & Fils Vosne-Romanée, the grapes are vatted in the winery for 15 to 18 days, with fermentation in French oak vats. Finally, it’s aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with 25% new barrels. Bouchard Père & Fils Vosne-Romanée is a delicate and captivating wine of limited production whose origins lie in the mecca of Burgundy's finest red wines.
