DESCRIPTION

Born in 1985, Clos is produced mainly from the young vines. The blending is Merlot and cabernet franc, whose percentage differs according to the quality of the vintage. It is a “wine for pleasure” with a 10 years ‘potential of ageing. The work in the plots of Clos is the equal to the actions in the parcels for the first label : pruning, cover, de-leafing, green harvest, hand-picking.

Tasting Notes:

The Nose is perfumed and slightly floral, certainly well defined with neatly integrated oak, dark fruit emerging with aeration in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly edgy, chalky tannin on the entry, shrouded by plenty of dusky black fruit and a potent, graphite-tinged Finish. This is one to watch.
