Las Corazas Tempranillo | Spanish Red Wine

Picota cherry red colour. Intense, complex aroma rich in red fruits with a liquorice background. In the mouth it is dense but gentle, once again with fruity and floral notes against a woody background. It us laid down in French and American oak barrels for 1 month.
There are black cherries, raspberries and even a light hint of ginger root on the nose in this fantastic value red. A lovely, soft blackcurrant fruit core is backed up by a touch of woodspice. Not too heavy or dry, and with great length for the money.
The winery’s philosophy is clear: to create intensely coloured and flavoured wines from the native soil, which express the purity of the local variety. The winery is supplied by 27 ha of vineyards that grow the local Monastrell (also known as Mourvèdre) variety, carefully fermented and aged in fine grained French and American oak, resulting in elegant wines of intense richness and complexity.
