Aged in both American and Spanish oak casks, the mid-range Old Pulteney 17 Year Old strikes the perfect balance between maturity and the distillery’s signature coastal style, winning hearts of whisky enthusiasts the world over.
This 17 year old from the Pulteney distillery was a double gold winner at the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. It also won gold during 2015 and silver during 2016 International Spirits Challenge.

Tasting Notes

NOSE: Sherbert, red berries, lemons and a little bit of rich fruit that’s almost on the turn.
TASTE: Sugar sweetness quickly leading to dry wood, with some dried apricots and raisins. Water brings out more fresh sweet and sour fruit – plums and their stones.
FINISH: Long with dry wood and apples.
