Santa Carolina - Estelar 57 Merlot | Chilean Red Wine

The grapes for this Merlot were harvested by machine and by hand, depending on the vineyard. They were then fermented and macerated with their skins in a stainless steel tank to extract color, flavors and textures. These processes were carried out using selected and controlled temperature yeasts. Once fermentation, the wine was aged for a few months in ponds to obtain greater smoothness, complexity and subtle notes of wood. Before being bottled, a gentle filtration to remove sediments, in order to highlight the varietal characteristics of the strain, obtain a rich expression of fruit and round tannins on the palate.
