Description

From the cellars Ramon Roqueta (Catalunya) comes Terra Càlida 2015, a red wine that includes tempranillo and cabernet sauvignon. Cherry red colour. In the nose aromas of ripe fruit combine with those supplied by the ageing in oak for 3 months. Among the fruit aromas, forest fruit (cranberry and blackberry) aromas stand out, blending with notes of American oak (vainilla, smoky).

Tasting Notes

On opening the aroma of oak and red berry fruits comes straight though with a lovely clear dark cherry color. On first tasting the wine is initially smooth but tapers off towards the back palate being quite dry, probably from over oaking in barrels. It is a little peppery and spicy on the tongue with medium weight and length.
