Basil Hayden 10 Year Old is meticulously crafted using a high-rye mash bill, featuring a higher proportion of rye grain compared to traditional bourbon recipes. This unique blend of grains imparts a distinctive character to the whiskey, characterized by its spicy complexity and smooth finish. The bourbon is aged for a minimum of 10 years in charred oak barrels, allowing it to develop its rich flavor profile and mellow texture over time.
