Description

An innovative limited‑edition Cognac from Camus, stemming from revived vineyards in Saint‑Aulaye, Dordogne, within the Bons Bois sub‑zone of the Cognac appellation. Made from 100% Colombard grapes, the 2015 vintage eau-de-vie was double-distilled and aged initially in fine-grain La Double oak barrels inside the 11th-century Saint-Aulaye castle tower. It then received a secondary finish in first-fill Monbazillac sweet-wine casks (225 L), marrying the richness of Cognac with the luscious sweetness and complexity of Monbazillac AOC wines. Just 3,000 individually numbered bottles were crafted.

Tasting Notes

COLOR:
A bright topaz‑amber robe with golden highlights, reflecting oak and sweet-wine influence.

NOSE:
Soft, sweet aromatics of Monbazillac—dried fruits, honeyed spice, orange peel—with subtle coffee‑bean roasting notes.

TASTE:
Rich and layered—dried fruits, candied citrus, sweet baking spices, toasted oak, and refined roasted coffee undertones.

FINISH:
Smooth and lingering, the finish blends oaky warmth with sweet spice and roasted-bean echoes.
