DESCRIPTION

Located on one of the two highest points of Saint-Emilion, the Château Destieux estate covers 8.12 hectares (20 acres) in one single block and looks out over superb landscapes at a 360 degree angle that ensures ideal exposure to sunshine for the vines.

Clay-limestone soils. At the top of the plateau, they are lightly covered by a fine layer of silica.

Bold and fragrant nose of plums, blackcurrants,cigars,cedar, roast,chocolate,clay, coffee,cinnamon, nutmeg.

TASTE:
Full of finesse in mouth,very soft,plump and rich. Long and persistant aftertaste, Memium acidity. Excellently matured tannins.
