Winery of great importance for understanding the recent boom in the Garnachas of Gredos, the region that stretches along the valleys of Alto Alberche, Alberche and Tiétar and in which three provinces (Ávila, Madrid, Toledo), three communities regions (Castilla y León, Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha respectively) and three denominations of origin (Cebreros, Vinos de Madrid and Méntrida).

Behind them are two key figures in the resurgence of Gredos: Dani Landi, who also has his own project in the area after leaving the Méntrida Jiménez-Landi family winery; and Fernando García, winemaker at Bodega Marañones (Wines of Madrid). His commitment to the region is total: "We want to know how far we can go with the variety and the terroir" says Fernando García and, in fact, right now they make wine in the three valleys that we have described above. To this end, they have recovered some vineyards that are extreme in altitude and accessibility, they try to lengthen the cycles to achieve slower maturation, they make wine with stems and with tremendously smooth extractions (the idea is to "touch as little as possible") and they are committed to aging with lees in barrels of large size or foudres.
