Domaines Bunan - Bèlouve Rouge | French Red Wine

A ‘classic’ Côtes de Provence. This 18th century bastide previously belonged to religious folk who vinified wine here (in Provencal dialect “bélouvé“ means “beautiful grape“). Surrounded by ancient olive groves and Tuscan cypress trees, the domaine exudes calm and tranquility. Since being reconstituted by the Bunan family in 1978, this wine domaine has been the first to begin harvesting in the region and all of France (in 1993) thanks to its micro-climate (owing to the olive groves not suffering from the frosts in 1956).
