Fiorelli - Moscato | Italian Sparkling Wine

This Moscato Spumante from Fiorelli is a lightly sparkling Italian white wine made from the muscat grape: moscato. Feel free to compare it with Moscato d'Asti. The most famous muscat wine from Italy comes from the town of Asti in Piedmont. Just like Moscato d'Asti, the bubbles are collected during the production of this wine. This is done in a large tank and this is called the Method Charmat. Not all sugars in the grape juice are converted into alcohol. The result is a wine with a modest alcohol percentage of 6% and the necessary residual sugars. It is (slightly) sweet, with the typical taste of grapes, white blossom, peach and a hint of sage. Serve it as an aperitif, with lunch or brunch. Or in combination with desserts with fruit.
