DESCRIPTION

In 1850, the Gancia family founded their winery surrounded by beautiful vineyards in Canelli, Piedmont. It was there that Carlo Gancia produced the first Italian sparkling wine, applying the techniques he had learned in Champagne, France.
Heralding from the cellars known as the "Underground Cathedrals" in Canelli, Gancia, the first Italian sparkling wine has been prized by the kings of Italy since 1850.
Crafted with time-honered artisanal techniques, Gancia Asti represents a truly distinguished passion for quality. Its refined taste and aromatic bouquet (with hints of exotic fruit, sage, and honey).

Bright and fresh on the palate, Gancia Asti is sweet and fruity, much like the Moscato Bianco grapes from which it is made. Can be enjoyed as an apertif or paired with desserts and fruits. Awarded 91 points by The Tasting Panel.

Aromas of sage, apricot, honey, caramel and lime juice. Palate like sucking on a clementine. Also notes of white table grapes and apricot. Long finish of peaches and sweetness on the lips.
