DESCRIPTION

A beautiful Palo Cortado sherry from Gonzalez Byass. Produced from Amontillado sherry, this ages for 12 years before bottling to give a lightly sweet and nutty wine. Excellent drunk chilled as either an aperitif or as an accompaniment to food.

Tasting Notes:

NOSE:
Cake-like sweetness. Almonds, hints of ginger. More citrusy on the second visit, with notes of orange zest.

TASTE:
Lots of cherries. This starts off quite sweet, but becomes almost a little dry.

FINISH:
Medium-short, cherries. Dry.
