DESCRIPTION

This Saint-Romain is an homage to Romain Lignier (Laurent's brother). The vines are situated mainly on the sloping land of the lieu-dit “Sous le Château” which is exposed to the south. The terroir is rich in chalk and very pebbly, with the vines grown organically and harvested by hand. This cuvée reveals notes of fresh apricot, exotic fruit, and a lovely, mineral tension. Serve it cool with a dish like cod with leeks or scallops with a sweet potato purée.
