DESCRIPTION

Named after the settlement now knows as a ‘lost’ township, Benbournie was situated between the towns of Clare and Blyth. The Benbournie is from a single vineyard on our McRae Wood property, planted by Jim Barry in 1964.

Tasting Notes:

This wine is a deep crimson red in the glass. Intensely aromatic with a mix of dark ripe fruits and a healthy lick of oak. The palate is ripe and structured with girth and length, showing blue black fruits, brambles and spice.
