DESCRIPTION

All of our Kaga Umeshu, unlike other umeshu on the market, which are mostly fermented, very rarely exceed 6 months, and are matured for a minimum of 2 years. They have all been selected as the best umeshu in Japan by the very serious NIKKEI Plus magazine.

Kaga umeshu is served first class on All Nippon Airways European and American routes and is served as a digestif when receiving the Nobel Prize.

Tasting Notes:

NOSE:
The plum aroma has mellowed and the fragrances recall the aroma of aged alcohol similar to whiskey.

TASTE:
A lot of sweetness in the mouth and a mellow acidity for this umeshu, which predisposes it to accompany desserts.

FINISH:
This umeshu will appreciate all-chocolate tarts, nut pastries, buttered baked bananas, summer fruit papillotes, baked apricots. It will also go perfectly with a foie gras, a blue cheese.
