Machetazo Espadín is an artisanal mezcal crafted in the Oaxaca region of Mexico, using the Espadín agave, one of the most widely cultivated varieties for mezcal production. The Machetazo brand is known for preserving traditional methods of mezcal-making, which include cooking the agave in underground pits, crushing the roasted agave with a tahona (stone wheel), and fermenting in open-air wooden vats. Tasting Notes
