Machetazo - Wild Salmiana | Mexican Mezcal

NOSE:
The aroma is fresh and green, with prominent notes of aloe, fresh herbs, and wet grass. There’s a mild smokiness, accompanied by citrus zest, green pepper, and a touch of brine. Hints of minerality and earthiness add depth to the nose.

TASTE:
On the palate, it is herbaceous and slightly vegetal, with flavors of green chili, agave nectar, and lime zest. There’s a light smokiness, much more subdued than in other mezcal varieties, allowing the natural sweetness of the agave to come through. Mid-palate reveals notes of fresh-cut grass, mint, and a touch of minerality, balanced by a mild peppery heat.

FINISH:
The finish is clean and crisp, with lingering herbal and citrus notes. There’s a soft, earthy minerality and a delicate salinity that lingers, making for a refreshing yet complex aftertaste.
