DESCRIPTION

This is the monovarietal Chardonnay wine, Auxey-Duresses 1er Cru 'Les Ecusseaux', produced by Jessiaume.

After directly pressing the whole grapes the juice is transfered to stainless tanks. The must is then put in oak barrels by gravity and naturally starts the alcoholic fermentation. The aging occurs on the lees for 10 months (25% new oak).

Tasting Notes

Tasting Notes:

Pale golden straw colored. Wonderful delicate fragrance. Subtle peach tart, baked lemon, yellow apple. Touch of fig, faint toasty brioche, caramelised apricot, dried mango, pineapple. The palate is lovely with fantastic balance. Great soft acidity with lifted orange citrus notes, ripe tropical fruit, a dash of pineapple juice and fresh pear.
