Pride Mountain Vineyards - Cabernet Sauvignon - 1.5L | Californian Red Wine

This incarnation of our Cabernet Sauvignon is a classic example of Mountain Cab: concentrated and layered with exotic complexity that emerges just beyond its fruit-driven intro. 27 lots of cabernet were night-harvested and transferred to individual fermentation vats, where they were cold-soaked for several days before being gently warmed for fermentation. After 20 days on skins, the wines were drained to French oak barrels, 50 to 60% new, where they were aged as separate wine lots for the next nine months. In August of 2018, preblending began, followed by an additional 11 months of barrel aging before the final additions were made to the blend: 5% petit verdot for spice and acidity, and 2.5% merlot for roundness and red fruit accents.
