The name "Auksinis," meaning gold in Lithuanian, reflects the wine's rich and amber-hued personality, a result of the unique maceration process applied by Riffault.

This distinct Sancerre opens with an intriguing nose of sun-ripened peaches, orange blossom, and a subtle earthiness.

TASTE:
The maceration process adds a layer of texture, providing a velvety mouthfeel that envelops the palate. Flavors of tropical fruits, apricot skin, and a hint of chamomile intermingle with a touch of tannin derived from the skin contact.

FINISH:
The result is a wine that marries the freshness of Sauvignon Blanc with the structure and complexity of extended skin maceration, culminating in a lingering, textured finish.
