The Balvenie Tun 1401 Batch #7 is a distinguished single malt Scotch whisky, meticulously crafted under the guidance of Malt Master David Stewart. This batch is part of the esteemed Tun 1401 series, celebrated for its unique marrying process that harmonizes select casks to create a complex and refined whisky.

Composition and Maturation:
Batch #7 comprises a vatting of eleven casks: nine traditional American oak bourbon casks and two European oak sherry butts. These casks were hand-selected from Warehouse 24 at The Balvenie Distillery and married together in the traditional oak marrying vessel, Tun 1401, for several months to achieve a harmonious flavor profile.

Full-bodied aroma with hints of pecan and cherry pies, evoking comforting familial memories.

TASTE:
A notable presence of peat introduces a smokiness that quickly hits the palate and then tapers off, complemented by light and easy-drinking characteristics.
