Starward Two-Fold is a smooth and approachable Australian whisky crafted from a blend of two grains: wheat and malted barley. The distillery, based in Melbourne, ages this whisky exclusively in Australian red wine barrels, predominantly sourced from local Shiraz, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir producers. The result is a whisky with a unique fruity character that reflects both the local climate and winemaking tradition. Two-Fold is designed to be versatile and accessible, making it ideal for both sipping and mixing.

Tasting Notes

NOSE:
Bright and inviting with aromas of ripe red apples, pear, and berries. There are also subtle notes of vanilla, toasted oak, and a touch of baking spices.

TASTE:
Light and silky, with flavors of orchard fruits like pear and apple mingling with creamy vanilla and caramel. Mid-palate, there’s a gentle spice from the oak and a hint of tannic structure imparted by the red wine casks, adding complexity.

FINISH:
